Open-door policy for Chinese investments unlikely to be adopted by the center

The center tightened its grip and increased the scrutiny on investment coming into India from China after the clash between Indian and Chinese troops in Galwan valley and the government is unlikely to adopt an open-door policy for the investments from Beijing. However, several reports hinting at government approving Chinese FDI on a “case-by-case” basis were floating. The government will examine all the Chinese investment proposals.
