Congress MP Manish Tewari had his say on the ongoing political crisis in Punjab. Speaking on the handling of former CM Amarinder Singh by Congress leadership and other important issues, Tewari said "the only people who are very happy with what is going on in Punjab is the deep state of Pakistan." He further said that the ideal that is higher than power "is ensuring peace, tranquillity and stability of a border state like Punjab."
