New 8% Pension Scheme "PMVVY" Launched

The government launched a pension scheme for senior citizens that promises an assured return of 8%. FM Arun Jaitley launched the Pradhan Mantri Vaya Vandana Yojana(PMVVY), which was announced in the 2017-18 Union Budget. PMVVY scheme announced by the government exclusively for the senior citizens aged 60 years and above which is available from May 4, 2017 to May 3, 2018. The scheme is exempted from GST.
