Nepal Government banned newly introduced Indian Bank notes

Over 2-years after the Indian government banned old Rs 500 and 1000 notes and introduced new Rs 200, 500 and 2000 denominations, Nepal government has banned the newly introduced Indian bank notes. The govt has asked their citizens to accept only Rs 100 notes from now on. Nepal is preparing for “Visit Nepal Year” in 2020 and among the visitors from all over the world, thousands of them will be from India.
