Myanmar military brings armoured vehicles on streets as pro-democracy protests erupt

Failing to control the situation unfolding on the streets of Yangon and other cities with thousands of protestors demanding the release of leader Aung San Suu Kyi and the restoration of democracy, the Myanmar military imposed hours-long internet blackout in the capital. Heavy troop movement was also seen. The military has now taken out armoured vehicles on the streets to crush the pro-democracy protests.
