Man-animal conflict to be registered as disaster in UP

For the first time, UP govt has approved to register man-animal conflict as a disaster. This move will create awareness and enable faster relief while ensuring police support to handle where such incidents are being reported. The guidelines are being prepared and will be issued soon. In the last 2 years, 98 cases of man vs big cat conflicts have been reported and this new plan will help in many ways, the govt hopes.
