Malaysian PM says his country has the right not to extradite Zakir Naik to India

Malaysian PM Mahathir Mohamad said that his country has the right not to extradite controversial Islamic preacher Zakir Naik to India. Zakir feels that he won’t get a fair trial in India & compared the situation to Australia refusing to extradite ex-police commando. Naik is a 53-year-old radical TV preacher who reportedly left India in 2016 & then moved to largely Muslim Malaysia, where he got permanent residency.
