Jordan's former Crown Prince and the half-brother of King Abdullah II, Prince Hamza Bin Hussein has been accused of siding with external powers to destabilise the country. "There was an effort to target Jordan's security and stability, this effort was foiled," Deputy Prime Minister Ayman Safadi said while explaining the reason behind a string of arrests a day earlier. Over 16 people, including a royal, were taken into custody.
