In more than 3000 encounters, 78 ‘criminals’ killed in UP under BJP

Since BJP leader, Yogi Adityanath became the CM of Uttar Pradesh the UP Police carried over 3,000 encounters between March 2017 and July 2018, in which 78 alleged criminals were killed. This will be highlighted as successes of the state govt on R-Day. The letter further mentioned that a total of 3,026 encounters were conducted out of which 69 were killed. Almost 7,043 criminals were arrested and 838 sustained injuries.
