Hong Kong protesters ransack parliament, police retake after firing tear gas

Protesters had stormed and occupied the legislative council building for hours, breaking through the glass and spray-painted messages on the wall. A portrait of Andrew Lung, President of the Legislative Council was smashed. Hong Kong police claimed few protestors scattered harmful powder towards officers. Police fired several rounds of tear gas on protestors, and the parliament building has been retaken from the protestors.
