UK PM Boris Johnson didn’t want to write to EU leaders urging another Brexit extension. But UK law forced the letter to be sent. French President Emmanuel Macron has said a new Brexit extension was not good. Boris Johnson now sought a separate letter to Brussels to give his peers Mr Macron, Angela Merkel and others to drag their feet a little. And latest rumour has it EU may well consider Brexit extension request.
