The Delhi Police engaged in a war of words with CM Arvind Kejriwal over the dangerous spurt in serious crimes in Delhi. Kejriwal tweeted questioning the safety & security of the public after an elderly couple was murdered at their residence. He also said the city had witnessed 9 murders in 24 hours. In response to Kejriwal's tweets, the Delhi police shared a graph that showed a 10% decrease in heinous crimes compared to 2018.
