China moves to impose security law in Hong Kong

The ruling Communist Party of China is all set to impose a controversial national security law for Hong Kong. It’s surely a massive blow to the city's freedoms which has already suffered a lot. The proposed law to ban treason, secession, sedition and subversion could well bypass Hong Kong's lawmakers. Critics are saying China is about to break its promise to allow Hong Kong freedom that’s nowhere to be seen in China.
