Bomb blast at Afghan President Ashraf Ghani's campaign rally, 24 killed

At least 24 people were killed and more than 31 injured near an election rally held by Afghan President Ashraf Ghani in central Parwan province. President Ghani is reportedly safe & unhurt. It is said that the explosion happened while the rally was underway at the entrance to the venue. No group has claimed responsibility for the attack. Militant attacks have been continuous as the country gears up for presidential elections.
