The account of Bhartiya Janta Party leader T Raja Singh whose name found a mention in a report that sparked the hate speech controversy has been suspended by Facebook. "We have banned Raja Singh from Facebook for violating our policy prohibiting those that promote or engage in violence and hate from having a presence on our platform," a Facebook spokesperson said. This comes after the uproar by opposition over hate speech.
