India won the Asia Cup 2023 for the eighth time defeating Sri Lanka in the final at Colombo. Sri Lankan MP from the main opposition Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) said an investigation has to be conducted to determine the reasons for it. According to a report by DailyMirror, SJB National Organizer and Member of Parliament Tissa Attanayake remarked that Sri Lanka's shameful defeat on Sunday was a birthday gift for Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
