Biden promises to fix 'mess' as second US bank collapses

After the recent collapse of the Silicon Valley Bank (SVB) and Signature Bank (SB), United States (US) President Joe Biden made a promise to hold everyone involved "fully accountable" for the failure of the banks. The US administration also released a series of emergency measures to try and boost people's confidence in the banking system in the aftermath of the recent banking crisis.
