Apple app criticized by China for tracking Hong Kong police movements

China has criticized an app Hkmap.live that is available on the Apple online store. The map allows activists to track and report police movements and the use of tear gas. The updates are regularly updated on the map. However, China did not take it lightly and the ruling Communist Party's main newspaper criticized Apple and accused that Apple facilitating illegal behaviour along with guiding the Hong Kong thugs.
