At the request of Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo, the Eiffel Tower was lit up in the national blue-and-yellow colours of Ukraine on Friday, which Hidalgo said was to express solidarity with the people of Ukraine in the wake of Russia`s attack. The monument's operator said the monument will be illuminated in Ukraine's national colours 'in support of the Ukrainian people' for three nights.
