Akhilesh Yadav says he will remove EVM if elected to power in UP

With the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections months away, former chief minister Akhilesh Yadav said his party will remove the EVM system if voted to power. The Samajwadi Party leader said while interacting with the media that the BJP will lose the ballot polls. He further argued that a country like America is using ballots and hence India should use it too. BJP leader Amit Malviya hit back at Akhilesh over the statement.
