Good news for tourists! Tourists will now be allowed in J&K from Thursday after 2 months of the ban. The administration had asked tourists to leave the state as the centre prepared to revoke its special status. Governor Shri Satya Pal Malik directed that the Home Department's advisory asking tourists to leave the valley be lifted immediately. To prevent any backlash, the centre has imposed massive security restrictions.
