'No-Development Zone' to be made near Ganga's edge

The area within the 50 meters from the edge of river Ganga in hilly areas will be safe from the construction work. As of now, the construction activities have been prohibited out there. As informed by the National Green Tribunal, these zones will be considered as the 'No-Development Zone'. Its direction needs to be revisited keeping in view the topography of these mountains regions.
