Aditya Vikram Birla was a businessman from India. He oversaw the diversification of his group into textiles, petrochemicals, and telecommunications after being born on November 114, 1994, into one of India's largest business families. The latter was friends with Mahatma Gandhi and made his wealth by developing the iconic Ambassador vehicle and mining for aluminium. Aditya obtained his formal education in Kolkata and graduated from St. Xavier's College with a degree in science. He subsequently travelled to the United States to further his education in chemical engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
