Paresh Rawal, an Indian Bollywood actor, was born in Bombay, India in 1950.
Paresh Rawal is an Indian film actor, playwright, and politician best known for his work in Bollywood. He is now a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party in the Indian Parliament's Lok Sabha (BJP). He won the National Film Award for Best Supporting Actor in 1994 for his roles in the films Woh Chokri and Sir. He won his first Filmfare Award for Best Comedian for the latter. This was followed by Ketan Mehta's Sardar, in which he played independence hero Vallabhbhai Patel, earning him national and worldwide fame.
