Ravishankar Jayadritha Shastri (born 27 May 1962) is a former Indian national cricket team head coach, cricket commentator, and former captain of the Indian cricket team. He was a member of the Indian national cricket team from 1981 to 1992, appearing in both Test matches and One Day Internationals. He began his career as a left-arm spin bowler but later evolved into a batting all-rounder.
