R. D. Banerji was born on April 12, 1885, and is an Indian archaeologist and ancient historian. In 1920, Banerji was working for the Archaeological Survey of India. Mohenjo-daro was designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1980. There are 10 more images on the Mohenjo-daro webpage, which they call Moenjodaro, likely the Pakistani spelling. Unfortunately, Banerji is not mentioned at all in the lengthy citation.
