She is better known by her stage name Maggie Q. She had originally planned to become a veterinary scientist, but owing to her family's financial constraints, she was unable to do so. She made her television debut in the drama 'House of the Dragon' in 1998. She starred in her debut feature film, 'Model from Hell,' two years later.
