Sharath M Gayakwad's path as a Paralympian swimmer and Arjuna awardee is one of tenacity and persistence. At the age of 12, he won two gold medals in his first swimming competition in 2003. There has been no turning back since. Sharath began winning gold medals at numerous swimming championships around India.
