Ajmal Kasab was condemned to death for the Mumbai 26/11 attack in 2010.
On May 6, 2010, he was condemned to death on four charges and life in prison on five. On February 21, 2011, the Bombay High Court affirmed Kasab's death sentence. On August 29, 2012, the Supreme Court of India affirmed the judgement. Kasab was killed on November 21, 2012, at 7:30 a.m. IST, and was afterwards buried within the confines of Pune's Yerwada Central Jail. Kasab pleaded not guilty to 86 counts on May 6, 2009. He was condemned to death on May 6, 2010.
