Gulshan Kumar Dua (May 5, 1956 – August 12, 1997) was an Indian businessman and film and music producer who founded the Super Cassettes Industries Limited (T-Series) music label in the Bollywood industry. He founded T-Series in the 1980s and helped it become a major record label in the 1990s. He was murdered in 1997 by the Mumbai underworld syndicate D-Company. T-Series has been run by his younger brother Krishan Kumar and son Bhushan Kumar since his death. Tulsi and Khushali Kumar, his daughters, are also playback singers.
