Ram Charan was born in Madras, Tamil Nadu, on March 27, 1985. He is Megastar Chiranjeevi's son and Pawan Kalyan's nephew. He is also Nagendra Babu's nephew and producer Allu Aravind's grandson, the grandson of famed comedian Allu Ramalingaiah, and the cousin of actor Allu Arjun. Ram Charan Tej made his debut in Chiruta, and his performance earned him many awards, including the Filmfare Best Male Debut Award and the Cine MAA Award for Best Male Debut, as well as praise from actors such as superstar Rajnikanth, who said he felt Charan's acting in that film was comparable to that of someone with over 70 films experience.
