Jensen Ross Ackles, born March 1, 1978, is an actor, producer, and director from the United States. He is best known for his role as Dean Winchester in The WB/CW horror fantasy series Supernatural, but he has also appeared in NBC's Days of Our Lives as Eric Brady (for which he received several Daytime Emmy Award nominations), Fox's Dark Angel as Alec/X5-494, and The WB/Smallville CW's as Jason Teague. He also performed the voices of Jason Todd in the animated feature Batman: Under the Red Hood and Batman in the animated adaption of Batman: The Long Halloween, as well as the lead in the box office blockbuster My Bloody Valentine 3D.
