Neha Kakkar Singh, an Indian playback singer, was born on June 6, 1988. Sonu Kakkar's younger sister is a playback singer. She began performing at religious events at a young age. She competed in the second season of Indian Idol, a singing reality show, in 2005. In the film Meerabai Not Out, she made her Bollywood debut as a chorus singer. She rose to prominence after the release of Cocktail's dance track "Second Hand Jawaani," which was followed by several popular party songs such as Yaariyan's "Sunny Sunny" and Queen's "London Thumakda." Aside from playback singing, Kakkar has appeared in a number of music videos and served as a judge on a number of reality shows, including "Indian Idol."
