Pran Krishan Sikand (February 12, 1920 – July 12, 2013), better known by his mononym, Pran, was an Indian actor who was best known for playing the greatest villain in Indian cinema history and as a character actor in Hindi cinema from the 1940s to the 1990s. He is one of the most successful and well-respected veteran actors in Indian cinema's history.
