She is the granddaughter of John Barrymore and a member of the Barrymore dynasty of performers. With her part in E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, Barrymore rose to prominence as a young actor. During the 1990s and 2000s, she appeared in a number of blockbuster films, including Charlie's Angels.
