The Tata Group of Companies was founded by Jamsetji Tata. Ratan Tata has a brother named Jimmy, as well as a stepbrother named Noel Tata. Ratan Tata is a prominent Indian entrepreneur and the former Chairman of the Tata Group of Companies, India's largest conglomerate. He is now Chairman Emeritus of Tata Sons, the parent company of the Tata Group that owns some of the key firms such as Tata Steel, Tata Motors, Tata Power, Tata Consultancy Services, Indian Hotels, and Tata Teleservices.
