A large demonstration has erupted in India's capital, Delhi, as outrage over a citizenship bill sweeps the country. Stone-throwing mobs confronted police forces in the Seelampur neighbourhood. Police used tear gas and batons to retaliate. According to local sources, some demonstrators and cops were hurt. The rally comes just days after police and protestors clashed in Delhi, injuring at least 50 people. A police station was reported to have been set on fire, and buses were vandalised, according to authorities.
