Siddharth Anand's 2008 Hindi-language romantic comedy Bachna Ae Haseeno is an Indian production. Ranbir Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Bipasha Basu, and Minissha Lamba are the movie's main actors. The popular song "Bachna Ae Haseeno" from Hum Kisise Kum Naheen served as the inspiration for the movie's title (1977). It was in direct competition with God Tussi Great Ho, which starred Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan, and Priyanka Chopra, when it came out on August 15, 2008, the eve of India's Independence Day. The former struggled, but Bachna Ae Haseeno was a success at the box office, becoming Kapoor's first hit and the eighth-highest-grossing movie of the year.
