Johnny Lever (born 14 August 1957 as John Prakash Rao Janumala) is an Indian actor and comedian best known for his work in Hindi cinema. He was one of India's first stand-up comedians. He has received numerous honours, including thirteen Filmfare Award nominations for Best Performance in a Comic Role, and has won the award twice, for his work in Deewana Mastana (1997) and Dulhe Raja (1998).
