Sharman Joshi (born 28 April 1979) is an Indian actor and television presenter best known for his roles in Rang De Basanti, Golmaal, Dhol, and 3 Idiots . Joshi comes from a family of actors and performers who are Gujarati Brahmins. His father, Arvind Joshi, was a veteran of Gujarati theatre, and his aunt, Sarita Joshi (Bhosle), and cousins also performed in Marathi and Gujarati theatre. His sister, actress Manasi Joshi Roy, and brother-in-law, actor Rohit Roy, are both actors.
