Vinod Khanna, an Indian Bollywood actor, died in 2017 at the age of 70.
Vinod Khanna was a film actor turned politician who served as the Member of Parliament for Gurdaspur. In Peshawar, British India, he was born into a Punjabi Hindu household to Kamla and Krishan Chand Khanna (now in Pakistan). He was the eldest of four siblings, with three sisters and one brother. Shortly after his birth, India was partitioned, and the family relocated from Peshawar to Mumbai. On 2 April 2017, Khanna was admitted to the Sir H.N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Center in Gurgaon, Mumbai, for a few weeks after suffering from acute dehydration. He passed away on April 27th.
