Chetan Bhagat is an Indian author and columnist who was born on April 22, 1974. In 2010, he was named to Time magazine's list of the World's 100 Most Influential People. Bhagat earned a mechanical engineering degree from IIT Delhi and a PGP from IIM Ahmedabad. He began his career as an investment banker but left after a few years to pursue his passion for writing. He has ten novels and three non-fiction books to his credit. Five Point Someone, his first novel, was released in 2004.
