Top New York doctor commits suicide amid pandemic

Dr. Lorna Breen, a top New York City doctor who has been on the front line of the fight against coronavirus has committed suicide. She was medical director of the emergency department at New York-Presbyterian Allen Hospital in Manhattan. The 49-year-old's father, Dr. Philip Breen said his daughter had had no history of mental illness. Lorna herself had fallen ill with the coronavirus and returned to the job recently.
