Till 6th September, 5 arrested activists will be kept under house arrest: SC

The Supreme Court has ordered that all the five activists arrested will be kept under house arrest until its next hearing, i.e., 6th September. Waiting for the response from the government by then, the court has also issued a notice to the Maharashtra police. Activists Varavara Rao, Vernon Gonsalves and Arun Ferreira were presented in front of the court today. Whereas, the Pune police is waiting for the custody of them.
