Taiwan man skips quarantine for party, handed hefty fine

A man from Taiwan has been slapped with a maximum fine of $33,000 after he partied at a night club skipping quarantine. The man, who was in a 14-day mandatory self-isolation at home after coming back from Southeast Asia, was caught during a routine police check when he was partying in Taipei at a nightclub. Not only heavy fine, those who skip quarantine will also be sent to centralised epidemic prevention facility.
