Study: HIV treatments aren't effective against COVID-19

Scientists are leaving no stones unturned in their search for a treatment for the deadly coronavirus. While early studies had suggested that HIV treatments might help in fighting COVID-19, a new study has now claimed this isn’t the case at all. Researchers in Wuhan recently tested the effects of two popular HIV drugs lopinavir and Ritonavir on critical patients with COVID-19 but the results were disappointing.
