Sri Lanka frees India-based photojournalists on bail

An Indian photojournalist of Reuters news agency got bail after he was arrested by Sri Lanka police for alleged unauthorised entry into a school. Siddiqui Ahamad Danish-based in Delhi allegedly attempted to forcibly enter a school in Negombo city to speak to its authorities. He was covering the aftermath of Easter bombings, remanded by the magistrate & released on surety bail. He was asked to appear in court on May 9.
