South Korean pharmaceutical giant Celltrion claims it received positive results from a pre-clinical study of its new antiviral treatment for COVID-19, suggesting a 100-fold reduction in viral load of the disease in animal testing. Its antibody treatment resulted in a high reduction of symptoms and along with the disease. The Incheon-based company now plans to start its first clinical trials on humans in July.
