Punjab government on Thursday said that it will be restoring the security cover of the 424 VIPs. The Bhagwant Mann-led Aam Aadmi Party government told this to the Punjab and Haryana High Court, which was hearing a petition by former minister OP Soni, who is among the 424 VIPs whose security cover was curtailed. This comes only five days after the murder of Punjabi singer and Congress leader Sidhu Moose Wala.
