Scientists in Japan have found a new type of virus that challenges the notions of how we categorize viruses that are different from other living organisms as they don't have cells. However, a strange virus found in pig feces, type of Enterovirus G, has no structural proteins to make a viral particle. The recombinant EV-G exploits another virus for viral structural proteins to help EV-G type 2 disseminate itself.
